MiG-15

Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 entered active service in 1949 and shocked Western forces during combat in the Korean War. The MiG-15 could outclimb, out turn and fly higher than the North American F-86 Sabre. And unbeknownst at the time, many MiG-15s were flown by experienced Russian pilots, not North Koreans.

As the fighter accelerates to supersonic speeds across a stormy Lake Ontario with 100% humidity, pressure drops along the aircraft as does temperature causing condensation of water wapour out of the air.

Gord Price and his Yakovlev Yak50 Prototype

Gord Price is a 77 year old acrobatic pilot who was a RCAF Starfighter nuclear strike pilot in Germany and later a commerial jet pilot for Air Canada.
